Chesapeake Bay Gets D+ Grade

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation released its 2022 State of the Bay report and the Bay along with its watershed received a D+, unchanged from 2020. According to the Gazette-Journal the report said the federal/state Chesapeake Clean Water Blueprint, based on the world’s best science, remains the most promising plan for restoring local rivers, streams, and the Chesapeake Bay but what has been lacking is implementation. The first report was issued in 1998 and comes out every 2 years.
