Virginia’s gas prices continue to rise in the new year. According to price tracking site GasBuddy the average for a gallon of regular rose 10 cents per gallon in the last week and is at $3.18. That’s 4.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and3.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of gasoline has risen 8.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.25.
