Virginia drivers start the new year off by paying more for a gallon of gas. According to AAA the average regular gas price is $3.10 which is 11 cents higher than last week. That’s still below the national average of $3.22. The Lancaster County average is $3.02 while Gloucester and Middlesex Counties have the lowest area average at $2.90.
