Ground was broken last month for Montross’ new park. According to Westmoreland News the park is located next to the Montross branch of the Rappahannock Regional Library and the project has been in the works for the past 18 months. Crews are now grading the lot in preparation for constructing the park’s pavillions. It’s not clear when construction work will be completed.
