The House of Delagates it considering a bill reducing the time period for early voting. It currently has one of the longest windows in the country at 45 days but the new measure shrinks it to 14 days. Bill sponsors say the shorter time will save money for voring registrars. Another sponsor says the goal is not to discourage voting but to reduce confusion.
