The Town of Kilmarnock will soon get additional pedestrian crossing signage and signaling thanks to a $410,000 grant obtained by the Virginia Department of Transportation. News on the Neck reports the equipment will be installed at Irvington Rd. and S. Main St., as well as N. Main Street at E. Church and W. Church. Town Manager Susan Cockrell says construction is slated for the end of 2023 or the first part of 2024.
