An investigation into a 2021 arson in Mathews County leads to an arrest. Police say the man who is from Middlesex County broke into a trailer in the 100 block of Ewellville Lane then started the fire and fled. The trailer was fully engulfed by the time firefighters got to the scene. The man faces felony charges of threatening to burn, burning or destroying an occupied dwelling, and breaking and entering a residence with the intent to commit arson.
