Middlesex County vehicle owners will get a rebate on their personal property taxes. The Southside Sentinel reports the Board of Supervisors voted 4-1, to provide a 25% “one time” rebate by returning surplus tax revenues collected from qualifying vehicles. Last month the Board voted to extend the personal property tax due date to Feb. 6 as a way to give relief to taxpayers with skyrocketing personal property tax bills.
