There’s new information on a Deltaville boat explosion that happened in late December. The Southside Sentinel reports Billy Wyatt and his family were gassing up the Sundancer II and marine police investigating assumed a spark ignited gas fumes under the boat’s deck. The Lower Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene within 10 minutes of the call and was able to gain control, but it was too late to save the vessel.
