A pair of Richmond County waterfowl hunters are facing federal charges for violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. They were caught in November after wildlife control officers heard shots after legal hunting hours. An investigation determined the hunters did not have federal duck hunting stamp and possessed seven wood ducks plus additional ducks found in a beaver pond. The daily limit is three per hunter.
