Urbanna Beautification Inc. announced it’s raised 40% of the amount needed to build the Bristow Community Pavilion at Taber Park. The Southside Sentinel reports the group started its fund drive last November and raised $39,200 toward the $92,000 it will take to build the pavilion. It is being built in coordination with the Town of Urbanna to honor the legacy of Charles and Betty Page Bristow. The pavilion will be available for public and private events.
