Virginia makes it into the top 5 on U-Haul’s list of most popular states for relocation. The moving rental equipment company’s Growth Index rankings are determined by calculating the net gain of one-way U-Haul trucks arriving in a state compared to those departing. Texas topped the rankings with Florida coming in second followed by South Carolina and North Carolina. California came in last followed by Illinois and Michigan.
