GA Ends Session Without A Budget

The General Assembly wraps up the 2023 session without passing a state budget but did approve a stopgap spending plan to keep the government running. According to CBS 6 lawmakers were unable to agree on several key pieces of the budget , including whether to enact the additional $1 billion in tax cuts Gov. Glenn Youngkin is seeking. The GA did pass measures addressing anti-semitism and a bill to give state regulators more authoirty to set electric rates.
