It’s 22-1/2 years in jail for a Gloucester County man convicted in federal court on charges of methamphetamine trafficking and related firearms charges. The Gazette-Journal reports Eric Lee Smith was convicted last March in what started as a 2020 Mathews County criminal case where he shot a victim multiple times at a home in the 700 block of Chapel Neck Road in North. The federal charges were filed in June 2021.
