Goodwill Industries opens a donation center in Gloucester. According to the Peninsula Chronicle the non-profit completed the purchase of the former BB&T bank building at Gloucester Point. It was announced on February 10 that Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia bought the George Washington Highway property for $565,000. Goodwill has been working or finding a donation center location for nearly 15 years.
