The Mason and Lula Cole Charitable Trust recently distributed awards to 32 community organizations. According to the Rappahannock Record the Trust’s contributions totalled $267,000. The Coles set up trusts during their lifetime that would pass to a Charitable Foundation at their death. Their desire and intent was to continue with their philanthropic mission for this community for many years to come.
