The Mathews Memorial Library celebrates Black History Month with an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25. The Gazette-Journal reports the open house will explore and celebrate a heritage rich in art, music, and literature. Several exhibits and activities for all ages to enjoy will be featured, including games, crafts, and refreshments. The library’s staff are engaged in creating a setting to excite and inspire those who visit the library in the coming month.
