Construction supplies have arrived for the Montross water system upgrade project. Westmoreland News reports the project’s contractor Resource International will be holding monthly meetings with the various vendors that are working on the upgrade. The town is moving to an automated system for reading meters and calculating water bills. Mayor Terry Cosgrove encouraged Resource International to see if a software package could be included with the new meters.
