The Pride of Middlesex Award and Banquet, presented by the Middlesex County Rotary Club, will be presented on April 1 at the Deltaville Maritime Museum Pavilion. According to the Southside Sentinel the award was established in 1997 by the club’s Vocational Services Committee and is given to an individual, family or organization that has made an exceptional contribution; giving “Service Above Self ” to Middlesex County, the Commonwealth of Virginia, or to the nation.
