Gas price tracking website GasBuddy reports the average prices in Virginia for regular fell 7-1/2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.33. Prices are 15-1/2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and 6 cents a gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of gasoline dropped 4.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.44. Analysts say February tends to be the month with some of the lowest gasoline prices of the year.
