The Gloucester County School Board discussed student discipline at its meeting Tuesday night in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium. The Gazette-Journal reports school board member Carlton Drew said the division’s policies aren’t detering behavioral issues but superintendent Dr. Walter Clemons argued the policies do work because the number of suspensions shows bad behaviors result in consequences. A Gloucester High School teacher commented that one big problem is there’s no consequences at home for their behaviors in school.
