The Irvington Planning Commission is recommending amendments to the town’as short-term rental ordinance. According to the Rappahannock Record those changes include requiring rental operators to get a business license and to provide ample off-street parking. The commission also discussed measures to take regarding short-term rentals that are being advertised by operators without a license. One suggestion was to have the town zoning administrator notify the operator of the license requirement. The town council will now consider the commision’s recommendations.
