The Kilmarnock Town Counxil approves a pay raise for the mayor, council and planning commission members. The Rappahannock Record reports they will receive a 100% stipend increase beginning July 1. Stating council members will receive $200 per regular council meetings regardless of attendance and the mayor will receive $400 per meeting for a total allocation of $19,200. Commission members will receive $100 each per meeting with no attendance criteria for a maximum annual total of $7,200.
