The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to have the planning commission review and recommend changes to the county’s noise ordinance. The Rappahannock Record reports the vote came after a public hearing that saw commenters compaining about noise from ATVs and fierarm sports. One resident suggested using decibel meters to remove subjectivity in enforcement. A date to review any proposed changes was not set.
