Middlesex County vehicle owners are getting a rebate on their personal property taxes. The Southside Sentinel reports in January the Board of Supervisors voted 4-1, to provide a 25% “one time” rebate by returning surplus tax revenues collected from qualifying vehicles. Middlesex County Treasurer Traci Wright said that over 7,500 rebate checks valued at about $823,000 are scheduled to be mailed out this week and next.
