Northumberland High School students are learning about future jobs flying drones. According to WTVR this is a new class that only 20 high schools in Virginia are teaching and is paid for by a Department of Education grant. Unmanned Aerial Systems Instructor Jay Lightfoot says Northumberland is very fortunate to have a very diverse population and the course attracted students from a number of different backgrounds.
