Virginia’s annual Statewide Tornado Drill is set for next Tuesday t 9:45 a.m. It is an opportunity to prepare for threats of tornados, and to ensure public warning systems are operating efficiently. Local radio stations, TV stations, and cable outlets will broadcast the test message via the Emergency Alert System. Officials say they will rescheduile the test for next Thursday if there is widespread severe weather on Tuesday.
