The Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District is oiffering 2 scholarship opportunities. According to the Southside Sentinel the goal is to promote education in technical fields of natural resource conservation and environmental protection. The awards will be considered for students majoring in, or showing a strong desire to major in, a course curriculum related to natural resource conservation and/ or environmental studies. Application deadline is March 20 and applicants must be residents of Middlesex, Gloucester or Mathews counties.
