The Virginia Lottery is marking March as the 20th anniversary of National Problem Gambling Awareness Month by creating a special webpage aimed at spreading the Play Responsibly message and highlighting resources available.
While the majority of people can gamble for fun and recreation without problems, gambling addiction can impact not just the gambler, but his or her family and loved ones as well. The Lottery works with the Virginia Council on Problem Gambling to spotlight resources for problem gambling treatment.
