Virginia Residents Are More Educated Than Ever Before

Virginia residents are more educated than ever before. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports the Lumina Foundation found that in 2021 close to 60% of working-age adults have earned a college degree, certificate or credential. That’s a 2% increase from since Lumina’s last survey. The increase occurred despite a drop in the total number of college students in the state. The survey determined the number of students staying in college and graduating is up.
