The Colonial Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad is being investigated by Virginia State Police for what’s being called an isolated incident with an individual. According to Westmoreland News the Sheriff’s office was conducting the initial investigation but contacted State Police after conferring with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. There’s been no comment on the investigation from the town or the squad.
