ESSEX COUNTY – Additional charges are forthcoming for an Essex County man arrested for back to back burglaries, KQSO reports. Patrick S. Banker was taken into custody in connection to a February 20 burglary at Bradley’s Convenience Store in St. Stephens where authories say the 33 year old broke into the building twice within an hour. Banker is currently being held in Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center in Saluda without bond and has an an arraignment for this case scheduled for April 26.
MEANWHILE…
Following the investigation police found that the incident at Bradley’s is connected to other burglaries in surrounding localities, including the Town of Tappa-hannock and Essex, which had alreadly filed charges against Banker for an alleged burglary at Sunoco in Dunnsville on February 10. A hearing in that case is set for April 27. Sheriff Balderson said Essex has also filed charges and issued a warrant for Jose Rivas for the incident at Sunoco.
