The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce recognized two people for their outstanding contributions to the community and to the chamber. Wayne Galleher recieved the Chamber Volunteer of the Year award, and David and Katie Dew were honored as Business people of the Year Sunday during the Chamber’s annual meeting and dinner, at Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club.

The Chamber also unveiled the inaugural Dennis W. Burchill Lifetime Achievement Award, in memory of late board member, and Two Rivers Communications General Manager Dennis Burchill. Dennis volunteered nearly 15 years in many local non profits. His wife, Patty Burchill accepted the award in his honor.
