A teen driver has now been cited for causing a big rig to run off a Saluda road last week. A tractor trailer overturned after it collided with a car that had made an improper turn from Gloucester Road onto southbound U.S. Route 17, according to an update from he Gloucester Office of the Virginia State Police, who said, the juvenile driver crossed into the path of the 18-wheeler, which struck the car in the rear. The impact pushed the teen’s vehicle off the road, as well as the big rig which overturned. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The crash shutdown Rt. 17 Business in Saluda, stalling traffic for some time.
