Kilmarnock – The race for several Kilmarnock offices is heating up as the June 20 candidate filing deadline approaches. Many of those currently holding office have announced their intentions of running again in the November 7 elections. Voters will have a number of offices to fill. In addition to state senator and delegate, voters will elect soil and water directors, constitutional officers-Sheriff, Commonwealth’s Attorney, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer-as well as a number of members to the boards of supervisors and school boards.
