Gas price tracking website GasBuddy reports the price in Virginia for regular increased just over 9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.39. Prices are nearly 27 cents a gallon higher than a month ago. The national price of gasoline also increased nearly 9 cents in the last week, averaging $3.40. Analysts blame higher oil prices for the increases.
