The Virginia Lottery invites residents to send special thank-you cards to recognize K-12 public school teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week from May 8 trough the 12. It’s part of the Lottery’s “Thank-A-Teacher” program and the thank-you cards feature artwork designed by three Virginia public school students.
