Gov. Glenn Youngkin named Dr. Parham Jaberi as acting state health commissioner. According to 8News Jaberi will head the agency as the search for Dr. Colin Greene’s permanent replacement continues. Greene’s appointment was not renewed by the Senate in February after leading the department for a little more than a year. Jaberi was deputy director for medical services for the Fairfax County Health Department.
