Work is progressing on the new Bristow Community Pavilion at Taber Park in Urbanna. The Southside Sentinel reports construction started earlier this month and the pavilion’s frame is already complete. Urbanna Beautification Inc. started a fundraiser last November to obtain the $100,000 needed to build the pavilion named in honor of Charles and Betty Page Bristow. The pavilion will be available for public and private events.
