Work on the new County Bridge Road span in Warsaw is stopped until July. According to News on the Neck it’s due to environmental restrictions that bar the Virginia Department of Transportation from creating a disturbance in Cat Point Creek which would affect anadromous fish populations. The DOT says work was ahead of schedule so the new bridge is still slated to open next February.
