Lancaster High School’s Class of 2023 commencement is at 7:00 p.m. on May 19 outdoors at the high school on Mary Ball Road. Superintendent Jessica Davis tells the Rappahannock Record the change in time is in an effort to ensure the comfort of all as heat and humidity proved too much for some attendees when the outdoor ceremonies were held during the day. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors.
