The President of Rappahannock General Hospital has left the position to pursue other opportunities outside the health system. According to Becker’s Hospital Review Leigh Sewell stepped down as president of RGH and Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville on May 12. Eric Young — chief operating officer of Memorial Regional Medical Center — will serve as interim president for both facilities until a permanent replacement is named.
