A flag retirement ceremony takes place June 14 at the Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department. It’s being conducted by the town and United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 33 and the ceremony takes place every Flag Day. Flags for disposal can be brought to Kilmarnock Town Hall no later than June 13 at 5:00 p.m. This will the 11th year the ceremony will be conducted.
