The deadline is approaching to apply for a banner in the town of Urbanna’s Hometown Heroes Veterans Banners program. The Southside Sentinel reports the custom banners honoring those who served the country will hang on lamp posts on Virginia Street and Cross Street through Labor Day. The cost is $125 per banner. Application deadline is this Friday. Banners will be dedicated next month.
