Two people are hospitalized from a two-vehicle crash last Thursday in Hayes. According to Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue crews were called to the 5100 block of George Washington Highway near Hickory Fork Road. One of those injured was extricated from the wreckage. The severity of the injuries was not disclosed. The crash is under investigation.
