Middlesex High School received the “Exemplar Performance Award” from the Virginia Board of Education. According to the Southside Sentinel it is awarded for excellence in either high achievement, continuous improvement, or innovative practices. Lancaster High School also received the award. A report with the award recipients was presented to the Virginia Board of Education at its June 15 business meeting.
