Friends of Dragon Run is holding a naming ceremony today at 10:00 a.n. for an 18-acre parcel on Farley Park Road at the New Dragon bridge which will be called the Teta Kain Nature Preserve. According to the Peninsula Chronicle it is to honor Teta Kain whose appreciation of the wonders and beauty of Dragon Run began with her first trip more than 30 years ago. She has since led more than 1,000 kayak trips down the run.
