Gloucester School Board Ordered To Release Meeting Recording

A judge orders the Gloucester County School Board to releasae a recording of a 2021 closed door meeting which was held to talk about “personnel matters” but instead discussed conflicts between board members. According to the Virginia Mercury the judge ruled the meeting violated transparency laws and not only ordered the audio recording released but also ordered the county to pay $4,000 in legal fees and fined the board $250.
