Northumberland County is preparing for its third annual Juneteenth Fair. According to the Rappahannock Record it will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on June 17 at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern in Heathsville. Organizers say there will be food and craft vendors, music and children’s activities, along with displays by community groups, historical groups and service organizations. A planning committee is coordinating all activities.
