NorCo BOS Mat Cut Health & Welfare Spending In ’24 Budget

The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors continues work on the fiscal year 2024 budget and cuts to health and welfare expenditures may be implemented to get a final spending plan passed. According to the Northumberland Echo County Administrator Luttrell Tadlock has recommended nearly $74,000 in cuts including removing a $46,270 allocation to the Northern Neck Free Health Clinic. The new budget needs to be passed by the June 30 deadline.
